When we first moved to Edmonton 5 years ago I was searching for a go-to place for ordering in Chinese food. I knew I was home when we first tried Szechuan Garden. Even though we have never visited the restaurant this is one of my favourite places to eat in Edmonton. Their dinner choices for 2 and 3 are the best deal and great choices. My favourite is the Shanghai noodles and my husband's is the special chow mein. All the choice dinners come with fried rice and spring rolls. All the staff that have ever come to my door are friendly and speak English. We ordered in on Canada day and it was a pleasure as always and there's so much food it usually means yummy leftovers for at least 1-2 more meals. I love this place!

Some of the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten in my life. The dumplings were like pierogies, the dough was very thick and chewy and very little filling that was very bland. The chicken fried rice came as just plain white rice with 3 peas and maybe 2 small pieces of chicken and little to no egg. Will never order from here again and will advise others not to order from here I've had better Chinese in a food court.

I wish you could give zero ratings. I just ordered a soup and they send me just noodles with some cabbage and carrots with no broth. The noodles didn't soak up the liquid because they are totally plain and dry. I called to try and see if they could send me some broth or give me a refund and after repeatedly ignoring me the guy said it's just the style, but it's not I've had it before and there was broth. He passed me off to a lady who refused to do anything and basically called me crazy. I have the proof of the order since I did it through skip the dishes so I may report them. Worst food experience I have ever had

I have only ever taken out from here but the food was always fresh and tasty.. I give this only 3 stars as I would not eat in here as it is not very inviting...

This is one of the worst experiences I have had with a Chinese restaurant , I orders through SkipTheDishes and the driver arrived earlier than we expected so we didn't hear him arrive at the door , we call him back to deliver the food and he's being extremely rude to us and dropping the F bomb on us while we're on the phone , I call the restaurant and they totally disregard the fact that their driver was being rude to us and the lady on the phone is talking over me the entire time . The delivery guy comes and he's still being extremely rude to us and still putting up a fight .
